Terms of Service - Decipher

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Decipher ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Decipher is a peer-to-peer marketplace for digital content and trading insights ("alpha"). The Platform facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers using cryptocurrency payments on the Solana blockchain.

Decipher does not hold, custody, or control any user funds. All payments are made directly between buyers and sellers on-chain.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Wallet and Private Keys

Upon registration, a Solana wallet is generated for you. You are solely responsible for:

Securing your password and private key
Backing up your private key in a safe location
Any transactions made from your wallet

We cannot recover lost private keys or passwords. Loss of your private key means permanent loss of access to any funds in that wallet.

5. Seller Responsibilities

If you sell content on Decipher, you represent and warrant that:

You own or have rights to the content you sell
Your content does not infringe on any third-party rights
Your content is not illegal, fraudulent, or misleading
You will deliver the content as described

6. Buyer Responsibilities

As a buyer, you acknowledge that:

All sales are final once payment is confirmed on-chain
Content quality and accuracy are the seller's responsibility
Digital content cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense
You will not redistribute purchased content without permission

7. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited:

Illegal content or content promoting illegal activities
Stolen, pirated, or copyright-infringing material
Malware, phishing links, or scam content
Personal information of others without consent
Fraudulent "insider" information or market manipulation schemes
Content that violates any applicable laws or regulations

8. No Refunds

Due to the nature of digital content and cryptocurrency transactions, all sales are final. We do not process refunds. Buyers are encouraged to review seller ratings and listing details before purchasing.

9. Fees

Decipher may charge platform fees on transactions. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you complete a transaction. Blockchain network fees (gas) are separate and paid to network validators.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

The accuracy or quality of any content
That trading alpha will result in profits
Uninterrupted or error-free service
The security of blockchain transactions

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Decipher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or cryptocurrency assets.

12. Intellectual Property

The Decipher name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. Sellers retain ownership of their content. Buyers receive a license to view purchased content for personal use only.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time, but this does not affect any on-chain transactions already completed.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
